Carer&#8217;s Allowance is taxable. It can also affect your other benefits.<\/p>\n<p>You could get\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/carers-credit\/overview\">Carer&#8217;s credit<\/a>\u00a0if you&#8217;re caring for someone for at least 20 hours a week, and are over 16 years of age and under State Pension age.
